Wound Care/Med/Surg Nurse

Loretto Hospital - Chicago, IL - Wound Care/Med/Surg Nurse. Reports to Nursing Management. Helps establish standards of care and staff clinical competencies to meet patient needs and to ensure clinical expertise of the nursing staff. Provides hands on and consultative direction to care for complex wounds, ostomy and incontinence patients according to WOCN standards. Takes significant role in helping with the development, coordination and monitoring of the Loretto Hospital wound care program in order to improve clinical... outcomes. Will work on the Med/Surg floor as well. This is a union position (AFSCME) Graduation from a accredited RN program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
